I also hate turns. Manipulation and bad views have their place as long as it's possible for the village to know that info they're getting might be unreliable. Agreed, though I actually think turns have more of a place than bad views. As long as there's a hint they've occurred, people know what they're dealing with. I never hated being turned. I always kind of enjoyed it. And then the Sons of Anarchy game happened. . My initial claim story would have been a recruiter. Louie Zianna from the same Hotdogs Willie story.

My initial claim story would have been a recruiter. Louie Zianna from the same Hotdogs Willie story. A GG who recruits would have been well-received. The problem was that Louie isn't a GG in studsWorld. And of course, by the time I was claiming, I knew I shouldn't have been choosing a lesser known character. It didn't matter because of the Swish thing, but I think the Hotdogs Willie story with Jimmy C would have probably worked. Or I could have just claimed Mason which half the game thought I was anyway. But I didn't really know how that worked.

Do recruiters normally get multiple shots to recruit? I was worried I'd be asked who I tried to recruit. Again, it's hard when you don't really know how those roles typically work.

What happened in the SOA game? We killed a lot of the BG team. There were, iirc, 3 of them left. We had a GG within a few votes of lynching, and I wasn't feeling it. I pushed hard to move to somebody else - KFG maybe? I eventually got IB to follow me. The rest of the village basically caved. We lynched him, he turned up BG, and with neither of his teammates (cetty and Igggy, iirc) around, the standing order he left on the BG board was to turn - me. Doomed! Went from up big to down big based on my own damn actions We actually had a chance at turning that game around, but I made the mistake of listening to cetty and killing SpOOf when I was almost certain he was just a PJ. Sometimes dictatorships exist for a reason.

Often they'll get a turn in place of a kill at night. Sometimes it's a one-time thing. Sometimes they get multiple chances at one turn. sometimes they have multiple turns. Basically the only limit to possibilities is your imagination, so anythinig is possible. But for a fake, a typical action is more likely to be believed.

There's really no such thing as a GG recruiter. Not sure how it would even work. Anything is possible with the right setup. It's happened before. In one of Keys' Final Fantasy games, the BGs were warned to not out their identities on the BG board. They did it anyway. Then one of them was given a chance to be turned, and he took it (gene). He outed everybody. Derek was pissed. They were warned, though. What are you gonna do? GG could recruit an Indy or a witch if he could locate them. He technically COULD recruit a standard BG, who would have to be sworn to not reveal what he knows. I don't think I'd ever take that chance, though. In Austin Powers, mini-me was a BG who didn't have access to the BG board, but he communicated with Dr. Evil separately. Turned out he could be recruited to join the GGs. I think it was norwood, iirc. I was a BG in that game, and he screwed us over royally. Game-changing.

I don't know what the victory conditions would be. Or maybe something like the vampires in the werewolf game. A guy who slowly grows his own board. Maybe good guys take two contacts to turn and bad guys four or something, so you couldn't get the full BG roster until really late if at all.
