Just waiting on Tasker, though it won't matter unless he protects himself. That doesn't seem to be on his list of thoughts at the moment. He's protecting bry or he's killing a LFer (Marvin, IB, someone else).

If not, didn't want them knowing about a possible protection out there.

Does the cat still have a kill left on it? What did Tasker try to do with it?

I hate that randomization plays this big a part this late. It's one of the reasons the item only had 6 uses and that I usually prefer to make items pass-around. Then the players decide it. But I wanted Leon in the game and having him passed didn't make any semblance of sense.

Player decisions re: how to use Leon figured every bit as much as who he went to. The cat mechanic worked fine.

The BGs could have used up the view instead of chancing the kill themselves, though they didn't KNOW its uses were limited the way they were. But I'd prefer putting total control in the hands of the players. Things I generally don't like in games (though all have their place): Over-reliance on randomization. BGs who are viewed as GGs Turns Manipulation Every time I include one of them and it impacts the outcome, I'm reminded of why I don't like them. That said, if you never use them, then people stop worrying about them. And I like to keep them off balance and keep the possibilities in the backs of their minds.

Manipulation and bad views have their place as long as it's possible for the village to know that info they're getting might be unreliable.

Agreed, though I actually think turns have more of a place than bad views. As long as there's a hint they've occurred, people know what they're dealing with. I never hated being turned. I always kind of enjoyed it. And then the Sons of Anarchy game happened. The simple answer is that no view should be taken as completely reliable. The real answer, though, is that it's going to take a LOT for most players to disregard a view result, which is accurate 90+% of the time, and trust their gut instead when it comes to lynching/killing a player.
